Meet Scott Driscoll
Scott Driscoll is a seasoned professional with a distinguished career in law enforcement, safety education and public advocacy. With more than three decades of dedication, he has significantly contributed to community safety through his roles as a police officer, educator and author.
Scott began his law enforcement career in 1989 with a local Connecticut police department, serving until 2010. During his tenure, he took on various key roles including Youth Officer, Computer Crime Unit member, FBI Connecticut Computer Crimes Task Force/Innocent Images operative, Internet Safety Instructor, and Traffic Officer. His expertise in investigating sexual assaults and commitment to community safety led him to teach classes on women’s assault prevention, personal protection and situational awareness.
In 2010, Scott joined a State of Connecticut police department where he served as a patrol officer and dispatcher until 2024. He developed and taught critical training courses on workplace violence, situational awareness and internet safety, significantly
enhancing safety protocols within the community he served.
Transition to Education
Recognizing the growing need for comprehensive safety education, Scott founded Internet Safety Concepts, LLC in 2007. This initiative educates youth, parents, educators, and community groups about the benefits and risks of modern technology, with a strong focus on cyber and technology protection.
In 2024, Scott expanded his efforts by establishing New England Educational Solutions, LLC. By bringing in the best speakers, experts and instructors in their field, this company offers seminars and lectures on workplace violence, personal safety, vaping and more to come — all aimed at helping schools, communities, families and corporations maintain safe environments.
Author and Speaker
Scott is an accomplished author, having co-authored two significant works: “www. R U in Danger.net” (2010) and “You Can Trust Me” (2020). His expertise and engaging speaking style have made him a sought-after speaker at numerous conferences and events, including the New England League of Middle Schools Conference, the Connecticut School Counselor Association Conference, the South Carolina FBINAA Annual Conference, and the Annual Children, Youth and the Police Conference.
